We offer courses in day school and you need to make an application through www.menntagatt.is between the end of April and beginning of June.

We accept ages 16-25 but younger students get preference. We offer 15 seats for beginners (A) per term in this one-year programme. We only offer seats for (B) in case of vacancies. Students who start our beginner´s programme (A) get preference to enter (B).

A. For beginners we offer an intensive course of 12 hours of on location classes per week. We offer three subjects all aimed at improving language skills in Icelandic. Those are Icelandic language, spoken Icelandic and Icelandic social skills. By passing this course you will get a certificate and up to 15 credits (feiningar) for upper secondary education.

B. For students who already know the absolute basics we offer an intensive course of 18 hours of on location classes per week.
